Site Surveillance

Our team will provide site inspection and ongoing surveillance of excavation activities on or near your high-profile and critical facilities. Proactive communication with the excavator prior to excavation notifies the excavator of the presence and the importance of the facilities in their area of work. Safety concerns can be relayed to the excavator to keep their crew safe while performing the work. 

Our inspector will remain in contact with the excavator and be on-site during the excavation from beginning to end. Additional coordination with your staff will provide the opportunity to examine any exposed high-profile or critical facility at the site. Restoration efforts by the excavator are monitored and documented to ensure compliance with your guidelines.

• Inspection of work site

• Verification of markings at the site for accuracy

• Records review of the area to ensure all known utilities are identified

• Contact the excavator to provide information and establish a schedule to meet prior to excavation

• Instruct the excavator in your requirements

• Enforce safe work practices while observing the excavation

• Enact a "stop work" action when excavation practices are in violation of local law and your guidelines

• Continuous reporting of the excavating via our online reporting system from beginning to end
